Our Story

Real Yemeni cooking,
made the slow way.

House of Mandi began with a simple belief: that the food of Yemen — its smoke, its spice, its generosity — deserves to be tasted exactly the way it is made back home. Our rice is layered and steamed over wood-fired heat. Our meats are marinated overnight and roasted low and slow until they pull apart at the touch of a fork.

For over a decade, neighbours, families and night-owls across Anaheim have gathered around our tables to share a platter, pour the cardamom coffee, and feel, for an evening, like guests in a Yemeni home.
